What is Goobie’s Nut Butter?
Goobie’s is small-batch nut butter made in San Diego with simple, real ingredients. We keep our recipes straightforward and leave out the unnecessary stuff.
What ingredients do you use?
Ingredients vary by flavor and are listed on each product page and jar. Our Cashew Butter, for example, is made with just cashews, coconut oil, and salt.
Do you add sugar or preservatives?
Our Cashew Butter has no added sugar and no preservatives. Check the individual product listing for the ingredients and details of each flavor.
Is Goobie’s gluten free?
Our current recipes are made without gluten-containing ingredients. If you have celiac disease or a severe gluten sensitivity, please contact us before ordering with any questions about preparation or cross-contact.
Why is there oil on top of my nut butter?
Natural oil separation can happen because we don’t rely on stabilizers to keep everything artificially suspended. Just give it a good stir and enjoy.
How should I store my nut butter?
Keep your jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration can help maintain freshness and reduce natural oil separation, but it may also make the butter firmer.
Where is Goobie’s made?
Goobie’s is made in small batches here in San Diego.
Do you ship?
Yes. Online orders are available for shipping within California. Available shipping options and rates will be shown at checkout.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Yes. Free local pickup is available at Ooh La La Dance Academy in La Jolla. You’ll receive pickup instructions once your order is ready.
How quickly will my order be ready for pickup?
Because we produce in small batches, timing can vary. We’ll notify you as soon as your order is ready rather than having you make an unnecessary trip.
What flavors are available?
We currently offer Cashew Butter, Peanut Butter, Almond Butter, & Cocoa Hazelnut Butter. Availability changes as we produce new batches. Check the Shop page for the flavors currently in stock.
Do your products contain allergens?
Yes. Goobie’s products contain tree nuts and/or peanuts depending on the flavor. Always check the ingredient and allergen information on the individual product before ordering.
What if my order arrives damaged or there’s a problem with it?
Let us know. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or there’s another problem with it, contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Why “Goobie’s”?
“Goobie” has been my nickname since I was five years old. When a kitchen experiment turned into something worth sharing, the name was already waiting for it.
